How do I care for the prints?

The PVC sheets and forex boards are durable but not indestructible. Treat them with care and be gentle.

You can drizzle liquids on them but wipe it clean with a damp cloth as soon as possible, especially something that can stain like turmeric or red wine or acidic such as lemon juice. 

The prints can scratch and dent so be careful when moving props on the prints or placing heavy props on the surfaces. 

I have placed warm pots on the prints but be careful placing anything hot on the surfaces as it may damage. I find felt feet you use for furniture a workable solution for a heavy prop that is warm or could scratch when moved.

How long does printing take?

All sheets and boards are printed per order received, I do not carry any stock. 

Due to loadshedding, Covid19 restrictions and the printer’s workload, printing times will vary but I aim for the printing process to be completed within 7 – 10 working days from placing the order.

Note that there may be a slight colour variation between the image on the screen and actual print

How do I receive my order?

There are 3 options :

South Africa shipping by courier , local deliveries in Cape Town (these will be once a week), or you can collect from my studio in Cape Town

Once the prints are received from the printers, you will be notified when they have been collected by The Courier Guy for shipping, or I will contact you to add you to the weekly local delivery schedule. 

If you have chosen the collect the prints, I will email you to set a suitable time for us both.

Shipping costs are included for the ranges and for orders over R1450

Can I order if I am not based in South Africa?

If you want to place an order from outside South Africa, contact me at hein@heinstirred.com. I need to get a quote for each international order and I also suggest that you only order the PVC prints. The boards are expensive to package and ship and I am just not 100% sure that they will arrive in the perfect condition.

Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, the item may be returned unused and in perfect condition within 7 days of delivery. A credit will be passed and you may choose a new design or item. Shipping costs will be for your account.
